Welcome to Luminous Mystery: A Catholic exploration of the complete and total Divine Revelation in the person of the God-Man Jesus Christ, the Great Mission of the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church, the wisdom of her saints, the sublime beauty of his Blessed Mother Mary, and the unfailing doctrine of the Magisterium, guided by Saint Peter and those who have succeeded him as head of the universal Church.
We will also explore current events, although, they will be viewed through the prism we call "the deposit of faith". This blog will not become an exercise in polemics, which occurs in abundance across the Internet. Rather, Luminous Mystery seeks to fulfill (to what extent possible) the aspirations of the New Evangelization, promulgated by Blessed John Paul II, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, and Pope Francis.
With that, I welcome you to "Luminous Mystery". May our efforts always point toward Christ; May your readership bear the fruit of peace; May we all be illuminated by the Truth, who is Christ Our Lord.
